The white lotus gay scenes

In the scene, Patrick and I are brothers, with this girl who we just met like the day before. I think it comes from a sense of insecurity. Yeah, I was totally nervous. It followed the excruciatingly straight Mark (Steve Zahn) as he learned that his late father had been gay and HIV-positive.

We all just trusted each other, and that dynamic worked well. The actual scene itself went smoothly. Across three seasons, the White Lotus creator (and one-time Survivor contestant) has written some of the messiest, most manipulative, and internally tortured queer characters we’ve ever seen on the small screen.

But Charlotte had only gotten to Thailand like two days before that, and I think her second shoot day was filming that scene. Weirdly, it was easier to do things with Charlotte because there were no stakes. Nivola, the year-old actor who plays Lochlan, spoke with Variety ahead of the Episode 6 shocker to detail what it was like to film that incest scene and unpack his character’s sexuality.

Popular on Variety. The White Lotus has provided viewers with another shocking nude scene, and the responses from Gay Twitter are hilarious. HBO On The White Lotus season two, Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) was led to believe that she met a wonderful group of gay friends led by Quentin (Tom Hollander).

I had two. Leo Woodall raised eyebrows – and temperatures – portraying Jack, the sexy "nephew" of a villainous gay millionaire on "The White Lotus.". It felt sort of fucked up. Then we got the scripts about a week later, and I read all of them in one sitting, on the plane to Thailand.

Throughout, there are flashes of Lochlan having sex with Chloe, with Saxon lying next to them. By Ethan Shanfeld. Minor spoilers ahead. Chelsea and Chloe kiss. Doing the sex scene was nerve-racking, and we were on a boat, and I get seasick, so that was fucking stressful.

For some reason, this made him question his sexuality, as if he had somehow always been gay without realizing it. After their island escapades, the foursome return to the boat and start playing spin the bottle, sans bottle. He has a night of introspection ahead of him, and choosing between Duke and UNC is the least of his problems.

Then… Lochlan and Saxon? Mike White was sort of calming about it, and I really trusted Patrick and Charlotte. One of Season 1’s gayest storylines didn’t involve sex at all. It would have been easier if that was the first time we were meeting. Yeah exactly, to play the creep!

If Episode 5 is the binge, Episode 6 is the hangover, with Saxon and Lochlan piecing together what happened the night before. But Patrick was already like a brother to me.
